It seems amazing to me that we have come to the last few weeks of 2018.

Where did it go, I ask myself?

Looking back over the year lots of good things have happened and my work in the studio has flourished with some really successful classes taking place. One group of students in particular have gone from strength to strength and as their confidence grows, so does their talent! It is so rewarding for me as a teacher to watch their development.

Many new people have joined the the studio this year and I am always delighted that they have found me via my website and some through word of mouth recommendation. I look forward to working with them again in the new year and to meeting lots more people who want to try something different and remove themselves for a couple of hours a week from the pace of daily life.

Some have likened their art experience in the studio to a therapy of sorts—I know it certainly is for me.

In the new year I look forward to running new and varied courses and some beginners classes too. I am always happy to encourage people and introduce them to techniques in one-to-one sessions, and this seems very popular.

The diary of events for 2019 will be published soon and I will be running day workshops at some other venues too.

In the meantime, just a couple of seasonal images to create the festive mood but lets hope we can enjoy the snow in pictures only this year!
