Our Autumn course is now approaching week four and we have been trying out lots of new ideas to interpret our semi-abstract representations of Autumn landscapes.

The course is all about discovery and representation.

We have experimented with textural surfaces using gesso and printing in to it leaves, fabric and other found items.

We have used a mix of acrylic ink and water colour in a very spontaneous way, adding granulation liquid, watercolour pencils and other media to create small textural sketches of autumn colour and stormy skies.

I have included some examples of our progress so far.
