Rita Thorn

Mixed Media Artist

Artwork

My recent work focuses mainly on the use of acrylic inks to which I add other media. My earlier work uses other media—most specifically soft pastel, acrylic paint and watercolour pencils.

The Studio

I run courses, workshops and other events for people of all ages. Here you can find out what’s on at the studio and see pictures from past events.

Exhibitions

I display my work several times throughout the year at galleries, community arts centres and festivals. See what’s coming up and have a look at displays from previous years.

Welcome to a creative 2018!

May you find lots of inspiration and new ideas to carry you forward into the new year.

“I celebrate the natural world with all its colours, light and energy. The skies and the oceans, the plants and animals, the ever changing seasons…”
