Mixed Media Artist

Each week in my garden studio in Moreton-in-Marsh, I run a regular art class (currently Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 4.30pm) where we explore different subject matter and cover a wide range of art disciplines including drawing, painting and mixed media techniques.

I’m also available for one-to-one lessons on other days, which often serve as an introduction for new students exploring what they’d like to learn. I regularly run workshops and four-week courses focusing on specific aspects, with dates and times posted on the website as they’re scheduled.

I have been going to Rita’s artistic workshops for quite a number of years and as well as spending a few creative hours a week, using different mediums, learning new techniques as well as breaking the occasional artistic rule, it has proved to be a wonderful haven for our small group, somewhere where an ambience of calm and laughter replaces the hassles of every day life.

Art sessions with Rita are uplifting and enlightening! She creates a lovely ambiance within which to paint and offers good advice and direction when needed. I have returned to art after some years and am lucky enough to have found the perfect teacher.
