About Me

As a mixed media artist whose inspiration to paint is interpreting the world around me and how best to do that, I particularly love using acrylic inks combined with other media to create texture, colour and light.

My journey has been experimental and I have worked in many mediums with varying degrees of success in my quest to achieve something that feels like its telling my story.

There is always a surprise (sometimes a disappointment) but always a learning opportunity to be had and always originality and the element of the unexpected in what I do.

There is so much to learn and so many possibilities as yet undiscovered. I am always working towards being able to do justice to the subjects I choose to paint and I know that this will be an ongoing challenge and one that I find continually exciting.
