This is just one study in which I have tried to capture the textures of grass and stone.

I used acrylic ink, surface texture and water colour markers.

In this piece I harnessed the combined qualities of acrylic inks and water flow to create the fronds of plant life that sway and move beneath the sea and form hiding places for the shy seahorses.
